Luis's Story

Luis Gerardo Cardenas Reyes — known as Jerry — is originally from Mexico City, Mexico, and is part of the IDE program. He studied at Universidad Panamericana and participated in the Futuro MMXXV cohort at Georgetown University as a changemaker. Jerry leads two ambitious projects: the first uses robotics, AI, and drone technology to clean contaminated lakes across Latin America, addressing pollution and environmental degradation at scale. His second project focuses on education reform, developed in collaboration with fellow alumna Stephanie Segura León.
